Film Dublin
FILM DUBLIN has been developed to ensure that Ireland's Capital City remains an attractive base for local and international film and television production. The Irish Film Board established FILM DUBLIN, with the aim of providing an opportunity for consultation, coordination and communication on complex film and television projects that are in need of multiple agency assistance.
Roadways and parking management, the speed of decision-making and the management of intensively-used locations have a major impact on filmmakers ability to shoot in Dublin. FILM DUBLIN will address these and other issues in a proactive manner to improve the production process. In return the film and television sector needs to understand and implement the Filmmakers’ Code of Best Practice which was launched on September 2nd 2004.
